Job summary

SkyWater Technology, Inc. is seeking a Director of Data Intelligence to lead a multidisciplinary team spanning BI, AI/ML, integration, and data engineering in a regulated environment.

You will define strategic roadmaps for enterprise data platforms, establish governance, and partner with manufacturing and engineering to deliver data-driven solutions. The role requires steering data initiatives across ERP/MES integrations, driving AI-enabled value, and shaping the data function from the ground up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in data/analytics/BI/integration with 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience building or scaling a data/analytics function in manufacturing/industrial/tech.
• Strong knowledge of BI platforms, data warehousing, and modern integration tools.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and guiding AI-driven initiatives.
• ERP/enterprise systems integration experience a plus.
• Experience in regulated or defense-adjacent environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team spanning BI, AI/ML, systems integration, and data engineering.
• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for enterprise data architecture and analytics platforms.
• Establish data governance standards and ensure data quality and controls.
• Partner with manufacturing and business leaders to translate needs into data solutions.
• Oversee integration architecture connecting ERP, MES, and other systems.
• Evaluate AI/ML capabilities to deliver measurable value in business and manufacturing.
