Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Director, Solutions Data Centers to lead the design and articulation of unified facilities management solutions for hyperscale, colocation, enterprise and AI/HPC data centers. This client-facing role converts complex requirements into operating models, staffing plans and commercial constructs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Facilities/Construction management; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years in facilities management or engineering services with data center accountability.
• 5+ years in FM solutions development, bid management, or senior operations with staffing/cost ownership.
• Experience building critical-facilities staffing models and defending them to clients.
• Fluency in FM commercial models, SLA/KPI regimes, and pricing; strong Excel modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to C-suite and engineers.
• Willingness to travel domestically (25-30%).

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for data center IFM pursuits across portfolios.
• Interrogate client requirements and translate into operating model.
• Build labor model, org chart, span of control and scope matrix.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Finance, EHS, Sustainability, Legal, and Technology to assemble integrated solution.
• Author and orchestrate the technical response: narrative, staffing plan, transition plan, tech stack, governance and risk register.
• Lead solution workshops, site walks, due-diligence visits and client orals.
