Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Director of Projects, Data Centers in Chicago, IL. The role leads large data center programs, manages budgets, and guides multi-site construction efforts from conception to closeout.

You will mentor project teams, oversee contracts, and maintain strong relationships with executive clients while contributing to business development. On-site, full-time position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with executive-level stakeholders.
• Analytical skills to review data and inform decisions.
• Experience managing medium to large development projects and capital programs.
• Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, scheduling and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution from pre-construction through delivery across data center programs.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cash flow reports and client documentation.
• Negotiate contracts and provide performance management of consultants and vendors.
• Maintain interfaces with architects, client staff, and vendors; resolve conflicts.
• Provide on-site supervision to meet performance criteria and mitigate risks.
• Lead capital improvement programs across multiple sites with local resources.
• Mentor and train project teams in firm procedures and practices.
• Support business development and cross-unit opportunities.
