Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Director within the WI Integrated Analytics, Insights and Reporting team to lead measurement, attribution, and data storytelling across business units. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Strong expertise in value measurement, attribution, and causal analytics.
• Experience analyzing unstructured data (call transcripts, survey verbatims).
• Ability to manage sophisticated projects across teams and influence timelines.
• Excellent communication to executive leadership; proficient with presentation tools (ThinkCell, Tableau, PowerBI).
• Experience interacting with leaders at all levels and crafting data stories.
• Knowledge of SQL and/or Python to manipulate large datasets.
• Highly organized, self-motivated with strong leadership and prioritization.

The Team

As a Director within the WI Integrated Analytics, Insights and Reporting team this person will be focused on supporting and building relationships across teams and stakeholders in support analytic initiatives and projects. You will partner to sustain deep relationships with these stakeholders, supporting high priority asks and working to source solutions with data to foster a data narrative. You are the Data Storyteller providing data-driven, contextualized insights to effectively communicate narratives and visualizations. The insights you provide will support the creation, management, and achievement of business objectives along with new focus areas and success measures. In providing useful insights you will help articulate future vision and influence roadmaps. Your direct interaction with the business will craft a discourse to answer strategic questions. You will act as the subject matter expert for measurement and attribution of value for key initiatives.

Expertise you Have and Skills You Bring

• Strong expertise in value measurement, attribution, and causal analytics

• Demonstrated skills in measuring performance of key strategic programs/ projects/ campaigns

• Comfortable interpreting measurement results and communicating to executive leadership

• Experience analyzing unstructured data like call transcripts, survey verbatims, etc.

• Ability to manage sophisticated projects across teams, and exercise influence and autonomy along with shifting priorities and timelines.

• Ability to think and work across Fidelity

• Act as connection point to other analytical teams within WI and other BUs, form positive relationships to lead and influence cross-functional teams

• Ability to coach and guide analysts across WI and other BUs

• Experience in interacting with leaders at all levels of the organization and craft executive level presentations to tell the data story

• Proficiency in verbal / written communication and comfort with presentation tools, including the Microsoft Office suite and ThinkCell, Tableau or PowerBI

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

• Prior experience working in a role requiring working across functions and business units (desired)

• Expert at synthesizing data / trends in order to develop key insights / storylines that help to effectively connect with leaders

• Experience working with data environments and knowledge in querying language and/or querying applications (SQL, Python) to create, manipulate and transform large datasets.

• Should be highly organized, curious, self-motivated with strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Agility in adapting to new and changing business areas and taking initiative to drive projects forward in a sophisticated, cross-functional working environment

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
