Job summary

Brinker International in Coppell, TX, seeks a Director of Cybersecurity to lead enterprise security across corporate systems, restaurant technology, and payment environments. This senior role drives risk management, incident response, and governance to enable growth while ensuring PCI DSS compliance.

The position is hybrid (3 days in office) and targets candidates in the area; relocation is self-funded and sponsorship is not provided at this time.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Experience securing large distributed environments (retail/hospitality).
• Deep knowledge of PCI DSS, incident response, threat detection, vendor risk management, governance & compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead Brinker’s enterprise cybersecurity strategy aligned to business risk.
• Oversee security architecture, threat management, and resilience initiatives.
• Translate cyber risk into clear insights for executives.
• Oversee monitoring, detection, and response for enterprise and restaurant environments.
• Lead incident response planning, drills, and real-world handling.
• Direct governance, risk, and compliance programs including PCI DSS and SOX.
