Overview

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Director of Cybersecurity is responsible for leading teams to deliver client projects successfully, while also contributing to the strategic direction of the region and company.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Guide the strategic vision, growth, and execution of the security practice.
  • Oversee client engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure project success.
  • Develop security strategies and roadmaps aligned with client business objectives.
  • Perform security assessments against frameworks like NIST CSF, CIS, PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO, SOC 1/2.
  • Prepare clients for security audits such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 1/2.
  • Partner with client account teams to understand requirements and design suitable solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance security, reduce costs, and increase value.
  • Translate client needs into solutions by leveraging SMEs to create value for clients and Crosslake.
  • Build long-term client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Participate in business development activities.
  • Support major project and program delivery, including project management and oversight.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, ideally in a service provider environment.
  • At least 5+ years managing, implementing, or overseeing technical security solutions (e.g., firewalls, Active Directory, application security).
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, CCSK or equivalent.
  • Expertise in at least two security frameworks or standards such as NIST, CIS, PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC 1/2.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership of execution and client satisfaction.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills, especially with clients and prospects.
