Job summary

Draper is seeking a Director, Cyber Operations to lead the cyber operations that protect the organization’s IT ecosystem in support of U.S. national security objectives.

This role reports to the CISO Leadership team and oversees administration, budget, and HR for the department. The successful candidate will drive security governance, cloud strategy, and AI security metrics, while coordinating cross‑functional teams to meet organizational goals in a dynamic research environment at Draper in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/IS or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 15 years in technology with IT infrastructure design/management focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Draper cyber-infrastructure and department budget (~$15M).
• Develop leadership dashboards to monitor services.
• Create a strategic framework for core IT infrastructure and computing systems.
