Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Director 2, Cyber Operations to lead cyber operations within the CISO Leadership team, supporting U.S. national security objectives and overseeing IT security functions.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, budget stewardship (approx. $15M), dashboards, and a framework for IT infrastructure, data deployment, and AI security governance, with required Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science / information systems management or related.
• Master's or other advanced degree is preferred.
• 15 years of experience in the technology profession focused on IT infrastructure design and management.
• 10 years program and project management experience, including estimating and forecasting, budget and financial management, staffing / hiring and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for management of the Draper cyber-Infrastructure, including management of department budget(estimated $15M), resources and capabilities.
• Development and management of leadership dashboard(s) to enable the department to monitor its support for all services.
• Responsible for development of the strategic framework for the acquisition, data, deployment and refresh of core IT infrastructure and computing systems to meet the business needs of Draper projects and organizations.
• Establish metrics to monitor the security of AI applications across the full life cycle and establish AI cyber governance framework that aligns emerging federal AI security and assurance expectations.
