Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Director for the Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Communications team to develop and manage crisis communications for active cybersecurity attacks and threats. You’ll lead multi-stakeholder strategies, oversee critical workstreams, and mentor junior staff in a flexible hybrid setting.

The role requires 5+ years in crisis management, cybersecurity, or corporate communications, strong client services, and excellent written/presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of crisis/issues management, cybersecurity, and/or corporate communications experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic proposals and communications plans for clients and new business prospects
• Serve as a primary client contact, representing the team in meetings, calls, and on client sites
• Manage client projects, coordinating rollouts and deadlines
• Scenario plan for likely outcomes and develop corresponding communications strategies
• Draft client materials, reviews of junior team deliverables, and key stakeholder communications
• Anticipate client and account team needs and proactively address them
• Contribute to new business proposals and presentations
• Support development and marketing of thought leadership on emerging trends
• Mentor junior team members and foster talent growth
