Job summary

Billingsley Company seeks a Director of Corporate Sponsorships & Foundation Relations to create and lead a sponsorship program from the ground up. You will recruit, negotiate, and steward corporate partnerships that fund signature events, community programs, placemaking, and public art across the Dallas–Fort Worth portfolio.

You will identify prospects, close multiyear agreements, and pursue foundation funding in collaboration with Legal and Finance, leveraging established regional relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Hospitality.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive sponsorship sales or fundraising experience.
• Proven track record securing significant corporate sponsorships and multiyear deals.
• Established relationships within the Dallas–Fort Worth corporate or philanthropic community.
• Strong understanding of sponsorship valuation, corporate marketing objectives and consultative selling.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual and multiyear sponsorship sales strategy with revenue goals, forecasts and performance benchmarks.
• Prospect, cultivate and close corporate sponsorships; build and maintain a qualified pipeline.
• Design tiered sponsorship programs, including presenting sponsorships, naming rights and exclusive category partnerships.
• Create customized packages aligned with each partner's marketing, community engagement and employee experience objectives.
• Negotiate multiyear agreements that generate recurring revenue, and manage renewals.
• Bundle sponsorship benefits across multiple events and properties where it increases partner value.
