Job summary

The Trust for Public Land seeks a dynamic Corporate Partnerships Director to elevate corporate engagement and giving. Lead fundraising strategy, build partnerships with corporations, and collaborate with marketing and field philanthropy to secure financial support and raise brand awareness.

The role requires exceptional communication, strategy, and relationship-building skills, with travel regionally and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Minimum of nine years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and proven ability to secure and steward major institutional gifts.
• Strong written and verbal fundraising communications, including complex grant proposals and letters of inquiry.
• Proven history of cultivating relationships with corporations and securing substantial funding.
• Experience conceiving and executing corporate engagement initiatives (networking events, volunteer activities, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 45–60 corporate donors capable of $25,000–$500,000+ in support.
• Acquire new corporate donors and partners to broaden the funding base.
• Collaborate across philanthropy, marketing, legal, finance, and program teams to develop proposals and budgets.
• Develop corporate engagement opportunities including CCV, cause marketing, licensing, and sponsorships.
• Oversee grant agreement deliverables and reporting to ensure donor satisfaction.
