Job summary

YMCA of Greater San Antonio is seeking a Director of Corporate Partnerships to lead a portfolio of corporate sponsorships, advertising, and community partnerships that generate contributed income. You will identify, cultivate, solicit, and retain partners aligned with the YMCA’s mission and priorities, and work closely with senior leaders to create a sustainable funding pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field or equivalent.
• Experience with sponsorships, philanthropy, or sales required.
• Strong consultative selling, prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to translate YMCA mission into a clear value proposition for businesses.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and proposal-development skills.
• Balance revenue goals with YMCA values, brand standards, and safety expectations.
• CRM/donor database experience to manage activity and revenue projections.
• Experience working with senior leaders, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Mac environment, Gmail, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual sponsorship and corporate-partnership revenue strategies.
• Collaborate with Executive Directors to identify new sponsorship opportunities.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive sponsorship inventory across the YMCA.
• Establish and achieve annual and multi-year sponsorship revenue goals.
• Identify and steward a portfolio of sponsors and community partners.
• Develop customized sponsorship proposals aligning business goals with YMCA impact.
• Sustain multi-year partnerships to strengthen financial sustainability.
• Negotiate and execute partnership agreements with clear benefits and deliverables.
• Ensure timely fulfillment of sponsor benefits across departments.
• Measure ROI and community impact through reports and outcomes.
• Use results to improve retention, renewals, and strategy.
