Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems in Massachusetts seeks a Director, Corporate FP&A to lead enterprise planning, budgeting, and long-range forecasting. You will partner with executives to translate data into actionable insights that guide capital allocation and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience in FP&A or related function.
• Executive-level communication and storytelling for leadership and Boards.
• Advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis; enterprise planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate planning cycles and direct the financial planning calendar, cadence and interconnectivity including budgets, forecasts and long-range plans.
• Lead the cadence and guide preparation of Executive Committee and Board reporting packages, distill complex analysis into clear narratives for senior stakeholders.
• Own enterprise cash forecasting, providing visibility into liquidity, working capital, and cash flow for capital deployment and financing decisions.
• Support enterprise capital allocation evaluations, target setting, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
• Oversee a shared pool of financial analysts and partner with Accounting and Investor Relations on financial results narratives.
