Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks a strategic Director, Corporate FP&A to guide enterprise planning, capital allocation, and performance measurement. This role partners across Finance, including Accounting and Investor Relations, to deliver a credible financial narrative and scalable processes.

The position drives planning calendars, risk governance, and finance transformation, including AI adoption, to empower executives and the Board with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience in FP&A or strategic finance.
• Executive-level communication and storytelling for leadership and Boards.
• Advanced financial modeling and enterprise planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate planning cycles, budgets, forecasts and long-range plans.
• Lead cadence and prep of Executive Committee and Board reporting with clear narratives.
• Own enterprise cash forecasting, liquidity visibility and working capital management.
• Support capital allocation evaluations, financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Investor Relations on results narratives and tools.
