What’s the position?
Our Director - Corporate Development will play a pivotal role in in the Corporate Development team. They will have the ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Play a pivotal role in the Corporate Development process from strategic planning to execution.
Negotiate terms and structure deals to maximize value and alignment with corporate strategy.
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance the company's market position and capabilities.
Negotiate partnership agreements and alliances to support business objectives.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market trends, competitive analysis, and industry dynamics.
Work closely with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans.
Work with corporate teams to conduct financial analysis, including valuation modelling, to evaluate potential opportunities and investments.
Develop business cases and presentations to support investment decisions.
Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential corporate development activities and partnerships to assess strategic fit and risk factors.
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across departments, including finance, legal, operations, and executive leadership.
Build relationships with external stakeholders
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Extensive experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
Travel may be required depending on the scope of corporate development activities.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and project management tools.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
