Job summary

Amgen Inc. seeks a Director, Copay & Affordability (US Remote) to lead the design and ongoing operations of Amgen’s patient co-pay programs and affordability initiatives.

You will drive programs that address patient affordability while aligning with brand strategy and financial goals. The role requires partnership with Legal, Compliance, Safety, Finance, and Brand teams to optimize programs, manage budgets, and report on performance in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of marketing, sales management and/or payer experience
• Or Master’s degree and 7 years of marketing, sales management and/or payer experience
• Or Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of marketing, sales management and/or payer experience

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of patient affordability strategies in alignment with brand goals
• Design, implement and operate affordability programs (co-pay, coupons, evoucher, cash pay)
• Conduct periodic copay and market landscape assessments and benchmark analyses
• Partner with Brand, Legal, Compliance and Safety on program review and approval
• Collaborate with Value & Access Insights, Analytics and Finance on financial planning
• Track and report key operational metrics and program performance
