Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Director, Copay & Affordability (US Remote) to lead patient affordability strategies and the design, implementation, and ongoing operations of Amgen’s pharmacy benefit co-pay programs. You will partner with Brand, Legal, Compliance, Data & Analytics, and Finance to drive performance and affordability outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of marketing, sales management and/or payer experience
• Or Master’s degree and 7 years of marketing, sales management and/or payer experience
• Or Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of marketing, sales management and/or payer experience

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of Amgen patient affordability strategies in alignment with brand strategic imperatives and financial goals
• Manage the design, implementation and ongoing operations of all affordability programs (co-pay, coupons, evoucher, cash pay) with opportunities for enhancements
• Conduct periodic copay and financial assistance market landscape and competitor benchmark assessments
• Collaborate with Brand, Legal, Compliance, Data & Analytics and Finance to support performance and P/L impact
• Oversee team budget management and vendor relationships
• Lead and develop direct reports, implementing training and career development opportunities
