Job summary

Leoforce located in Irvine, CA, seeks a Controller (Manufacturing) to own US and Mexico accounting operations and financial reporting. The role reports directly to the CFO and is based onsite in Irvine with occasional travel to the Mexico manufacturing plant.

You will lead US/Mexico teams, manage tax filings, audits, and financial policies, and drive cross‑country compliance. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting, GAAP expertise, and manufacturing experience; CPA is a plus and Spanish

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive general and accounting experience.
• GAAP knowledge and cost accounting principles.
• Private equity backed environment experience is preferred.
• Manufacturing company experience is preferred.
• Multi-country (US and Mexico) experience is preferred.
• CPA is a plus; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage general ledger entries and financial statements.
• Conduct cash flow analyses and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory, including Mexico cross-team counts.
• Manage tax return filings and compliance.
• Lead US and Mexico accounting teams and cross-training.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, and benefits tracking.
• Support audits and liaise on liability and workers’ compensation insurance renewals.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Configure NetSuite for accuracy and effectiveness.
