Job summary

Jobot is partnered with an Irvine, CA-based manufacturing leader seeking a Controller to oversee US and Mexico accounting. The role reports to the CFO and requires onsite presence in Irvine with occasional travel to Mexico to coordinate with the plant team.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting, strong GAAP and cost accounting knowledge, and experience in a private equity-backed manufacturing environment. NetSuite and Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and cost accounting expertise.
• Private equity backed environment experience preferred.
• Manufacturing company experience preferred.
• Multi-country reporting experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP accounting systems.
• CPA is a strong plus; NetSuite and Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger entries and financial statements for US and Mexico.
• Conduct cash flow analyses and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and full-cycle counts with the Mexico team.
• Lead tax returns and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and lead US/Mexico accounting teams; implement internal controls.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, and benefit processing.
• Support audits and liaise on insurance renewals.
• Administer NetSuite configurations for accuracy and efficiency.
