Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; ideal 10+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience in Contracts Management.
• Experience in Government/Defense Contracting.
• Experience/knowledge in FAR/DFARS.
• Experience in people management/leadership.
• Willingness to travel ~10–15% domestically.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance (U.S. citizen).

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of contract professionals on strategic initiatives.
• Mentor, train and develop a diverse contracts team.
• Provide career development and training opportunities.
• Oversee contract formation, negotiation and administration policies.
• Drive implementation of strategic contract opportunities.
• Understand business case, financial and risk implications.
• Support change management and process improvements.
• Lead complex negotiations.
• Represent the company to customers, suppliers, and government agencies.
• Provide contractual solutions and recommended actions.
• Review and approve contractual documents to protect the company.
• Negotiate terms and prepare proposals in collaboration with stakeholders.
