Job summary

Hearst Corporation seeks a Director, Contingent Worker Office (CWO) to lead global non-employee workforce programs. Based in New York or Chicago, you will oversee Beeline and MSP partnerships, drive strategic sourcing, and implement governance for contingent labor while partnering with senior leaders to optimize supplier performance.

You will manage end-to-end lifecycle, ensure compliance, and deliver cost efficiency through data-driven decisions and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managing non-employee programs on a global basis.
• Experience with staffing suppliers, freelancers, and contract workers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders to identify contingent staffing needs.
• Provide oversight of end-to-end program to ensure compliance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement Program Strategy and Governance for contingent workforce.
• Oversee Beeline as the system of record for contingent labor and ensure data integrity across regions.
• Leverage Beeline and HR data for strategic decision-making and executive reporting on external workforce performance.
• Develop and execute a strategy for sustainable supplier partnerships with regular business reviews.
• Partner with HR, Compliance, and Legal to mitigate risks.
• Design and implement a preferred supplier program with tiered structure and incentives.
• Optimize program benefit by consolidating spend and negotiating volume discounts with scorecard oversight.
