Job summary

Medline in Northbrook, IL seeks a Director of Enterprise Data Products & Decision Intelligence to define and lead the enterprise data strategy, governance and scalable data products that power analytics and AI at scale.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, Quality and Procurement to move from descriptive insights to predictive decisions, balancing immediate business needs with long-term data and AI innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in data engineering, business intelligence, analytics or data management, with 4+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience building or leading a Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year vision, strategy and roadmap for enterprise data products and decision intelligence.
• Establish and lead the COE, including charter, operating model, engagement model, funding approach and success metrics.
• Lead intake, qualification and prioritization of enterprise demand and communicate trade-offs to executives.
• Define business cases, expected benefits and value measures for data investments, and report on portfolio progress.
• Build and scale enterprise data foundations: reusable, governed, certified data products and semantic models.
