Role Overview

The Director of Consulting Operations is a key role responsible for contributing to growth-focused efforts and managing business operations for the firm’s Lines of Business (LOBs). This individual collaborates with consulting leaders as well as Talent (HR), Finance, Marketing, Knowledge Management, and other functions to implement priority initiatives and support the firm’s mission to provide outstanding value to clients and stakeholders. The position will touch a broad range of activities including practiceoperations, sales and pursuitmanagement,businessplanning and execution, and other go-to-market efforts.The Director will support priority offerings across the firm, with a focus on one or more LOBs.

Responsibilities

lSupportChartisConsultingandpracticeleadershiptomakeprogressagainstthe strategic agenda and collaborate with firm resources to deliver resultsagainst strategic, operational, and financial goals

lMonitorthesalespipeline,coordinatingwithleadownerstoensurefollow-throughand identify support requirements

lFacilitatecommunicationincludingpracticeandofferingareameetingschedules,agenda development, and other connectivity points

lLead collaboration effortswith practice operations and key functional areas across the businesstoconnectthedotsbetweenrelatedendeavorsandidentifyopportunitiesfor continuous improvement

lEnsureadherencetofirmprocesses(legal,financial,projectmanagement,people)

ActivePursuitCoordinationandProposalDevelopment

lDrivetheproposalprocessforkeyRFPsandstrategicopportunities

lCoordinateandfacilitatediscussionsbypursuitteams,providingprojectmanagement support, and acting in a leadership capacity throughout the pursuit process

lDevelopfirst-lineproposalcontentbasedonstandardofferingsandworkingwith practice area leadership for de novo pursuits

lReviewproposalsandpricingmodelstoensurequality

lManage orals process and deadlines to ensure a well-prepared and differentiated presentation and team

lMaintainpulseonmarketcompetitorsandfirmdifferentiatorstoinformpursuitstrategy

Business Development and Go-to-Market Efforts

lSynthesize,draft,edit,andfinalizearangeofotherinternalandexternal-facingfirmcommunications materials in support of business development activities

lCollaboratewithleadershipandMarketingtoexecuteonoverarchingmarketingand thought leadership plan

Qualifications and Desired Skills

l 8+yearsofexperienceworkingin a management consulting firm with healthcare-focused consulting experiencerequired.

lBachelor’sdegreerequired;Advanceddegreepreferred(e.g.MBA,MPH,MHA,MPA)

lStrongprojectmanagementexperience,comfortablemanagingandprioritizingunder tight timelines

lAbilitytorapidlylearnandsynthesizenewknowledgeandinsights

Salary range: $130,000-$180,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs. In addition, Chartis offers several benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, disability insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, wellness stipend, and additional voluntary benefits.
