Job summary

Red Cat Holdings seeks a Director/Sr. Director of Congressional Policy to lead federal advocacy from Washington, D.C.

You will engage Congress, manage the PAC, and shape policy related to defense, homeland security, and appropriations for the unmanned systems industry. Based in Washington, you will drive strategic public policy programs, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and advise on legislative actions while supporting ITAR/EAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in government, political science, public policy or similar.
• 4+ years in a legislative policy role on Capitol Hill; preference for Armed Services, Appropriations, Intelligence and Homeland Security.
• Excellent written and verbal communications; strong public speaking.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze legislative and policy matters for Red Cat and the unmanned systems industry.
• Engage Congressional offices and Committees to advance company priorities.
• Monitor federal and state legislation; develop a strategic public policy program.
• Support PAC, manage contributions and solicits; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Represent Red Cat in meetings with legislators and industry groups.
