Job summary

Northside Neighbors seeks a Community Wellness Director to design, implement, and oversee holistic health programs for Hawthorne and Whitman neighborhoods. You will center resident voices, promote physical and mental health, and connect residents to resources and job opportunities.

Applicants should have a strong background in community health, urban work, and data‑driven program evaluation. This is an in‑person role in Tulsa with occasional evening events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Public Health, Social Work, Community Development or related field.
• Minimum of five years in community health promotion or nonprofit program management.
• Experience in underserved urban communities and cross-sector partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive community wellness strategy for Hawthorne and Whitman.
• Establish partnerships with health agencies, nonprofits, and fitness/nutrition groups.
• Design wellness events, screenings, and educational sessions.
• Track wellness outcomes and report to stakeholders.
• Engage residents and leaders to integrate wellness into neighborhood revitalization.
