Job summary

Almac Group in Audubon, PA is seeking a Director, Commercial Supply Services to lead forecasting, order processing, product supply and new product introduction while managing client relationships.

You will sit on the site leadership team and collaborate with global networks to align processes with standards, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement in supply and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Science or Business-related discipline.
• 5+ years experience within a Business/Client or Account Management role within the Pharmaceutical industry
• 5+ years of management experience
• Budget Control Experience
• Experience of sales order processing within an ERP system
• Supply chain management

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Site Leadership Team and Global Management Team.
• Work closely with the global internal network to align processes for client management, order delivery and New Product Introduction with global standards.
• Provide input to site and global S&OP processes and align forecasts with Finance.
• Lead discussions to resolve client delivery issues and communicate action plans.
• Sponsor key client relationships and participate in senior level business reviews.
• Provide leadership to staff, fostering integrity, enthusiasm, and commitment.
• Contribute to design and implementation of local and global business processes for continuous improvement.
• Support Business Development activities and promote site capabilities.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with GMP and internal procedures.

Job description

Almac Group is currently seeking a Director, Commercial Supply Services for our Audubon, PA location. The Director, Commercial Supply Services is a key member of the Almac Audubon site leadership team responsible for managing client service activities related to forecasting, order processing, product supply and new product introduction as well as overall client relationship management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Serve as a key member of the Site Leadership Team and Global Management Team. Work closely with the global internal network to ensure processes and practices for client management, order delivery and New Product Introduction at the Audubon site are fully aligned with global standards.
• Provide direct input to site and global S&OP process. Work closely with the global Finance team to ensure site forecasts and delivery performance are controlled, monitored, and reported accurately.
• Lead discussions with other members of the management team to agree the action plan and communication strategy related to any client delivery issues at the site.
• Sponsor key client relationships playing a lead role in the preparation for key business meetings including senior level business reviews and steering meetings.
• Provide exemplary leadership to staff by embodying the Almac values. Develop and manage staff with integrity, enthusiasm, and commitment.
• As part of continuous improvement, provide input to the design and implementation of local and global business processes.
• Support Business Development activities, promoting site capabilities and experience.
• Maintain accurate and appropriate records and reference documentation for the provision of internal management information. Comply with all relevant Company Operating Procedures. Follow all relevant GMPs and ensures staff does the same.

Qualifications:

Required Experience / Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Science or Business-related discipline.
• 5+ years experience within a Business/Client or Account Management role within the Pharmaceutical industry
• 5+ years of management experience
• Budget Control Experience

Preferred Experience / Education:

• Experience of sales order processing within an ERP system
• Supply chain management
