Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Director of Commercial Strategy & GPO Management to advance governance of portfolio priorities, renewals, and strategic deals across GPOs and Buying Groups. You will partner with Sales, Pricing, Finance, and Legal to translate priorities into decision-ready recommendations and drive value realization.

This role requires extensive experience in healthcare commercial strategy, executive communications, and complex contract governance, with a strong analytical and collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial strategy, deal governance, pricing/contracting, or related roles within healthcare or B2B environments.
• Experience supporting or leading commercial governance forums, strategic deal reviews, and cross-functional decision-making.
• Experience working with or supporting GPOs, Buying Groups, or complex channel partnerships is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial strategy and deal governance forums with clear context, inputs, and recommended actions.
• Maintain disciplined intake, prioritization, and review processes for renewals, acquisitions, and strategic opportunities.
• Develop decision-ready materials outlining customer context, pricing, economics, risks, and actions.
• Use data-driven analysis to assess economics, profitability drivers, pricing scenarios, and contract performance.
