Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Commercial Post Quantum Cryptography Director to establish and grow the PQC practice, define standards, and guide services for commercial customers. You will lead cross-functional efforts with product, IT, networking, and security teams to embed PQC best practices across client architectures.

You will hire and mentor PQC experts, deliver security reviews, and present roadmaps to executives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading technical teams in Post-Quantum Cryptography, Classical Cryptography, or Secure Communications.
• 5+ years of experience with infrastructure component management or design with hardware or software, including interoperability of cryptographic protocols.
• Experience presenting recommendations and roadmaps to executive stakeholders.
• Experience developing and testing interoperability of quantum resistant algorithms.
• Experience leading teams in the implementation of large-scale software or hardware deployments.
• Knowledge of quantum-safe technologies, timelines, and standards, including NIST publications.
• Knowledge of EU cyber regulations and PQC recommendations.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow Booz Allen’s Commercial PQC practice.
• Define the PQC team’s direction, standards and requirements for services and solutions sold to Booz Allen Commercial customers.
• Enable businesses to understand risks and overall security posture of their quantum cryptography constructs.
• Educate and influence client executive and engineering teams on PQC best practices.
• Lead, hire, and inspire teams of PQC experts to perform security reviews, develop cryptographic inventories, and migrate tools to be quantum resistant.
• Lead the delivery of assessments of cryptographic environments with remediation plans and deployment support.
