Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton invites a Commercial Post Quantum Cryptography Director to establish and grow our PQC practice for Commercial customers. You will define the team’s direction, standards and service solutions, and lead the design and deployment of quantum-resistant architectures.

You will hire and mentor PQC experts, deliver security assessments, and develop pilots and remediation plans to meet client requirements. Travel up to 50% will be required; a Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading technical teams in PQC, cryptography, or secure communications.
• 5+ years in infrastructure design/management with hardware or software including crypto interoperability.
• Experience presenting recommendations/roadmaps to executive stakeholders.
• Experience developing/testing interoperability of quantum-resistant algorithms.
• Experience leading large-scale software or hardware deployments.
• Knowledge of quantum-safe technologies, timelines, and standards (NIST).
• Knowledge of EU cyber regulations and PQC recommendations.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PQC practice’s direction, standards and requirements for services and solutions.
• Build and mentor teams of PQC experts for security reviews and pilots.
• Migrate tools/technology to quantum-resilient architectures.
• Deliver assessments of cryptographic environments and remediation plans.
• Collaborate with product, IT, networking, and security teams to ensure PQC best practices.
