Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Commercial Post Quantum Cryptography Director to establish and scale its PQC practice, setting direction and standards for services and solutions sold to Commercial clients. You will lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support quantum-resistant architectures across the enterprise.

The role requires deep PQC experience, chess-like strategic thinking with executives, and the ability to hire, mentor, and drive large-scale cryptographic initiatives

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading technical teams in PQC, classical cryptography, or secure comms.
• 5+ years in infrastructure design/management with hardware or software.
• Experience presenting roadmaps to executives.
• Experience testing interoperability of quantum-resistant algorithms.
• Experience leading large-scale software/hardware deployments.
• Knowledge of quantum-safe tech, timelines, and standards (NIST).
• Knowledge of EU cyber regulations and PQC recommendations.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow Booz Allen’s PQC practice with standards.
• Lead PQC team delivery of security reviews and pilots.
• Develop cryptographic inventories and remediation plans.
• Collaborate across product, IT, networking, and infra teams.
