Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Director of Commercial Operations to bridge Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Analytics. You will own systems, processes, and data infrastructure enabling a high‑performing sales organization with Salesforce at the core.

This role blends strategy, operations, and system design, and requires strong cross-functional leadership. The position focuses on pipeline governance, training enablement, workflow optimization, and analytics collaboration to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 3+ years in customer success, sales, analytics, or commercial operations.
• Ability to transform data into insights and actionable recommendations.
• Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sales process and Salesforce platform; manage pipeline, forecasting, and governance.
• Provide reps with training, tools, onboarding curricula, playbooks, territory frameworks, and compensation docs.
• Map cross-functional workflows (Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations) to remove friction and drive automation.
• Define governance framework and maintain policy documentation; monitor compliance and drive remediation.
• Partner with Analytics to translate business questions into reporting requirements (utilization, unit economics, territory performance).
