Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Director of Commercial Operations to align Sales, Finance, Legal, and Analytics. Lead systems and data infrastructure and optimize Salesforce as the central platform. The role blends strategy, operations, and system architecture to drive a high-performing sales organization.

The candidate will define governance, enable coaching, and deliver actionable reporting on utilization, unit economics, and territory performance. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years in customer success, sales, analytics, or commercial operations.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects involving Sales, Finance, IT, and Marketing.
• Travel up to 20% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sales process and Salesforce operations including catalog, pricing rules, and governance.
• Provide training, tools, and dashboards to accelerate reps' onboarding and performance; develop scorecards.
• Map workflows across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Ops; drive automation and clear reporting requirements.
• Define governance framework, policy, engagement rules, and territory/account governance; monitor compliance.
• Other duties as needed.
