Job summary

Akumin seeks a Director of Commercial Operations to bridge Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Analytics. You will own systems, data infrastructure, and governance that power a high-performing sales organization on Salesforce.

Responsibilities include optimizing the sales process, enabling rapid ramp with training, playbooks, territory design, and KPI-driven scorecards, while driving cross-functional process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years in customer success, sales, analytics, or commercial operations.
• Ability to transform data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce), Excel, and Tableau.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and commercial performance dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sales process and Salesforce platform, including catalog, pricing rules, workflow automation, and naming standards.
• Provide training, tools, onboarding curricula, playbooks, territory frameworks, and compensation documentation; build scorecards.
• Map current-state workflows across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to resolve cross-functional friction and improve processes.
• Define governance for commercial policy, rules of engagement, and territory/account assignment; lead audits and remediation.
• Serve as primary commercial liaison to Analytics to translate questions into clear reporting requirements.
