Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations for Commercial Property & Casualty with a focus on standardization, performance, and strategic growth. The role partners with regional leadership to optimize workflows, service delivery, and profitability while guiding producers, account teams, and ops leaders.

Fully remote preferred with Central Time Zone hours; onsite hybrid possible within 50 miles of IOA locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience with a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with leadership to improve operations and performance.
• Identify and implement scalable workflows, processes, and best practices.
• Conduct workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Commercial P&C operations and technology.
• Lead M&A integration support and change management initiatives.
• Collaborate with producers, account teams, and leaders to drive client satisfaction.
