Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations. The role partners with senior leaders to drive standardization, efficiency, and scale across multiple regions while supporting producers and account teams to deliver exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, with CPCU/CIC preferred, and has 5–7+ years of leadership experience within a large brokerage or agency.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines operations initiatives with leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement to increase productivity and client outcomes.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Plan workforce capacity and staffing to support growth.
• Align Managed Services resources with organizational goals.
• Provide national expertise on Commercial P&C operations and systems.
• Support M&A integration through planning and workflow alignment.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to drive results.
