WCF Insurance in Sandy, UT is seeking a Director of Commercial Liability Claims to lead the liability claims function, set strategy, and oversee complex claims. You will build and guide a high-performing team to ensure technical excellence and strong financial results.

The role requires deep knowledge of general and auto liability, litigation strategy, and claims analytics, with collaboration across underwriting, actuarial, and finance to align claims with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, insurance, or law; JD preferred.
• Extensive experience in umbrella and liability claims and insurance administration.
• Strong leadership and managerial capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the general liability claims function, strategy, and standards.
• Monitor reserves, settlement authority, and expenses to support profitability.
• Oversee vendors, defense counsel, and TPAs for outcomes and compliance.
