Job summary

TruLegal, a growing technology company in Atlanta, seeks a Director of Commercial Contracts to own the customer-facing contracting function. This highly visible individual contributor role leads complex negotiations with enterprise customers and modernizes commercial agreements for evolving technology offerings.

JD or law license not required, but attorneys are encouraged to apply, with a three-day-in-office hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Significant progressive experience in commercial contracts, contracting advisory services, legal operations, professional services, or related client-facing environment.
• Ability to independently manage and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements with large organizations.
• Experience with data use, privacy, security, AI governance, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial contracting process for customer agreements, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and facilitating execution.
• Lead negotiations with sophisticated enterprise customers and their procurement, legal, and business teams.
• Partner with commercial leadership to support sales objectives while protecting the business.
