Job summary

Atmosphere TV in Chicago, IL is seeking a Director of Commerce Partnerships to open commerce media as a new market. You will lead from outreach to close, bringing our in-venue TV footprint to commerce and shopper marketing buyers.

This senior IC role requires building a net-new pipeline, establishing a go-to-market narrative, and onboarding at least two net-new CPG partners and two RMN partners in year one. Reporting to the VP of Programmatic Media, travel ~15% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in media sales, partnerships, or strategy, including 5+ years focused on commerce media, shopper marketing, or retail media.
• Experience building new business from scratch, sourcing your own pipeline, and exceeding revenue targets.
• Knowledge of Retail Media Networks and commerce activation.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize Atmosphere to commerce buyers as a premium, incremental supply source.
• Define go-to-market narrative and sales materials for commerce media.
• Build a net-new pipeline through self-sourced outreach to brand commerce teams.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, launch, and upsell.
• Develop measurement-led proposals showing ROAS, incrementality, and foot traffic.
• Structure deals (PMP, PG, curated) with RMN offsite programs and DSPs.
• Collaborate with RMN and demand teams to activate Atmosphere via retailers.
• Work with account management on launch, delivery, and reporting.
• Provide market feedback to inform product roadmap and partnerships.
