Job summary

UF Health seeks a Manager for the Coding Center of Excellence (COE) & Quality, Education & Training to lead enterprise coding quality assurance, audits, and education across UF Health hospitals and professional fee coding operations. You will shape standards, curricula, and policies, partnering with CDI, HIM, Compliance, Finance, and leadership to drive coding accuracy and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory expertise, and the ability to influence best practices through

Qualifications

Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS coding principles.
Knowledge of MS-DRG and APR-DRG methodologies, along with clinical validation.
Knowledge of HCC/risk adjustment models.
Deep knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-wide coding quality assurance, auditing, education, training, and professional development.
Serve as enterprise authority for coding quality standards and education.
Develop and oversee centralized Coding Center of Excellence programs and policies.
Collaborate with Coding, Revenue Integrity, CDI, HIM, Compliance, Finance, and Operations.
Guide regulatory compliance initiatives and coding practice improvements across UF Health.
