Job summary

UF Health seeks a Manager, Professional Coding to lead enterprise-wide professional fee coding operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimal reimbursement. You will oversee quality, productivity, and regulatory adherence while partnering with CDI, Revenue Cycle, HIM, and physician leadership to standardize processes across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of healthcare coding experience with supervisory success, RHIA/RHIT or CPC/CCS credentials, and Epic experience; MBA

Qualifications

• Requires strong leadership and strategic oversight of coding operations.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide coding initiatives and multi-site teams.
• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and OPPS methodologies.
• Epic experience required; RHIA/RHIT or CPC/CCS credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality, productivity, compliance and revenue cycle performance for professional coding.
• Collaborate with CDI, Revenue Integrity, HIM, Finance and physician leadership to standardize processes.
