Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing with editorial and leadership experience.
• Strong writing and editing skills with storytelling ability and tone.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets.
• Experience with media relations and crisis management.
• Ability to build consensus among diverse groups.
• Experience developing communications strategies for a complex organization.
• Crisis management experience and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Owns editorial strategy and standards for cocurricular content.
• Leads undergraduate messaging strategy development and execution.
• Gathers inputs from leadership and supports school priorities.
• Provides mentorship to cocurricular content contributors.
• Collaborates with central communications and stakeholders for rollout.
• Manages ad-hoc editorial projects and reviews work against standards.
