Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Director of Security Operations to lead cloud security for AWS and GCP, overseeing AI-powered SaaS platforms and cloud-native architectures. You will define strategy, build high-performing teams, and drive security excellence across large-scale distributed systems.

You will collaborate with executives and engineers, translate threat intelligence into business insights, and steer crisis leadership during major incidents while maintaining production

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience.
• Experience securing AWS and/or GCP cloud services.
• Experience with Kubernetes infrastructure and IaC.
• Proficient in reading/writing code (Python preferred).
• Strong incident response and crisis leadership skills.
• Excellent communicator across engineers and executives.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead a unified cloud security operations strategy across SaaS products.
• Lead a program for cloud security poster management and align with stakeholders.
• Oversee security operations for AWS/GCP, ensuring production stability.
• Review security architecture, investigate incidents, and prototype solutions.
• Promote automation, scalability, and reliability in security operations.
• Advise leadership on security risks and provide executive visibility.
• Lead incident response and represent HPE cloud security externally.
