Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a seasoned value analysis consultant to help healthcare clients optimize supply expense management and improve patient care outcomes.

You will analyze products and services, lead investigations, and collaborate with clinicians and executives to drive cost-effective decisions. The role involves guiding cross-functional teams, performing financial analyses, and managing complex engagements with regular travel to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant healthcare or consulting experience.
• Experience leading cost-savings initiatives within complex environments.
• Experience with value analysis, product evaluation, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Strong program planning, project management, and change management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and presenting to executives.
• Ability to travel regularly to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in value analysis and advise clients on cost-effective product/service choices.
• Lead value analysis investigations and guide clients through analysis processes.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and allied professionals to identify needs.
• Coordinate with evaluators, suppliers, and client teams for evaluations.
• Lead implementation of approved product/service conversions with cross-functional teams.
• Perform scenario and financial analyses to evaluate programs and services.
• Research and present findings to support informed decisions and measurable outcomes.
• Lead complex engagements advancing supply expense management and value analysis goals.
• Develop relationships with clinical, operational, and executive clients to build consensus.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and client service.
