Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations and Medical Policy to lead clinical pharmacy services across multiple lines of business. The role directs policies, prior authorization, and utilization management while guiding a team of managers and staff to meet strategic goals.

The position emphasizes governance, collaboration with internal departments and external partners, and ongoing quality improvement in evidence-based medication assessment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in state of practice.
• 5+ years of management or professional experience in a managed health care system or hospital.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct clinical pharmacy services aligned with strategic goals, managing large drug expense while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provide vision and leadership to Clinical Pharmacy Services teams, managing budgets and change initiatives.
• Direct formulary, policy, prior authorization, and utilization management for multiple lines of business.
• Oversee governance committees (P&T, MPG) and Medicare/formulary submissions.
• Collaborate across departments and with external partners to optimize access, quality, and affordability.
