Job summary

SmartLight Analytics is seeking a Director of Managed Care Pharmacy Analytics to lead as the pharmacist voice on client calls, discuss payment integrity findings, and guide analytics storytelling while potentially acting as clinical lead for PBM RFPs.

The role partners with data science and cross-functional teams to develop pharmacy strategies, ensure models make clinical sense, and stay aligned with evolving regulations and payer contracts.

Qualifications

• PharmD with Managed Care Residency preferred.
• Experience analyzing pharmacy claims data (3+ years).
• 6–8 years in pharmacy benefit management with client-facing experience.
• Strong executive presence and ability to translate findings for clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary pharmacy/clinical SME on client calls and translate analytics into stories.
• Apply PBM operations knowledge to review claims adjudication and pricing terms.
• Lead or support clinical model development for payment integrity.
• Collaborate with data science and cross-functional teams to implement strategies.
• Ensure regulatory alignment with CMS, CAA, and payer requirements.
