Job summary

Travere Therapeutics seeks a Director of Clinical Pharmacology to lead PK/PD strategies across clinical programs. This role shapes recommendations for dose, design, and evidence needs, partnering with senior leadership and regulatory teams.

You will oversee dose escalation, PK/PD modeling, and regulatory document preparation. The ideal candidate has a PhD or PharmD with 6+ years in pharma/biotech development, strong cross-functional leadership, and experience applying MIDD to support NDA/IND

Qualifications

• PhD or PharmD in Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 6+ years of experience in pharma/biotech development.
• Demonstrated PK/PD, biopharmaceutics and pharmacometrics leadership across multiple projects.
• Experience guiding cross-functional teams and influencing regulatory submissions.
• Experience applying MIDD strategies across development phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of clinical pharmacology strategies across programs.
• Provide strategic guidance on dose, regimen, study design and evidence needs.
• Oversee PK/PD studies, modeling, and exposure-response analyses.
• Support regulatory submissions with protocols, INDs, CTAs, and NDAs.
• Review protocols and reports; anticipate regulatory questions and responses.
• Lead development of clinical pharmacology documents and sections.
• Collaborate with Research, Regulatory, Project Management and other functions.
• Provide leadership at key development milestones and portfolio decisions.
