Job summary

Travere Therapeutics in San Diego, CA seeks a Director of Clinical Pharmacology to lead PK/PD strategy across clinical programs. You will shape recommendations for dose, regimen, and study design, and serve as the senior pharmacology partner across functions, aligning plans with development objectives.

Qualifications

• PhD or PharmD in Clinical Pharmacology or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• Expertise in PK/PD, biopharmaceutics, and pharmacometrics.
• Leadership across multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience guiding regulatory submissions and evidence planning.
• Ability to translate data into program strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical pharmacology strategy and integrate PK/PD across development.
• Provide strategic guidance to project teams on dose, regimen, design.
• Oversee design of PK/PD studies and modeling for early candidates.
• Support regulatory submissions including INDs/NDAs.
• Prepare clinical pharmacology documents and reports.
• Partner with R&D functions to align plans.
• Provide leadership at key milestones.
