Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Director of Clinical Pharmacology, Modeling & Simulation in South San Francisco, CA. You will lead the development and implementation of pharmacology strategies, integrating PK/PD modeling with clinical development across modalities to influence program decisions and dosing regimens.

The role requires advanced degrees with 4+ years of leading teams and deep experience in PK/PD, MIDD, PBPK, and regulatory interactions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s/Bachelor’s with extensive Clinical Pharmacology & Modeling & Simulation experience.
• Management experience leading teams, projects or resources.
• Experience designing clinical pharmacology and modeling & simulations plans for drug development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Clinical Pharmacology, Modeling & Simulation strategies.
• Lead cross-functional drug development teams across modalities.
• Design strategic PK/PD plans integrated with clinical development.
• Apply MIDD approaches to optimize dosing and study designs.
• Represent the department on global drug development teams.
