Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a DIRECTOR- SYSTEM CLINICAL INFORMATICS to join our INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY team. The role partners with clinical and IT leaders to assess, implement, and evaluate IT solutions shaping clinical care delivery.

The Director designs governance for EHR improvements, aligns roadmaps with strategic goals, and leads enterprise-wide informatics initiatives, with emphasis on change management and staff development to realize value from technology investments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, informatics or information technology required
• Master's degree preferred; informatics or related field advantageous
• Certification in informatics highly desired
• Active nursing license in WI, MN or MI preferred
• Epic certification in clinical modules highly desired
• ANCC certification in healthcare informatics highly desired
• Membership in professional associations (e.g., HIMSS, ACHE) desired
• Minimum 8 years in Healthcare, Healthcare IT or Informatics
• At least 3 years in leadership within an integrated healthcare system
• Extensive experience with Epic core systems
• Proven success leading teams and driving IT adoption
• Experience designing enterprise-wide IT solutions and leading without direct authority
• Experience using data to drive operational improvements
• Involvement in budgets, strategies and standards
• Strong leadership in complex organizational settings
• Ability to manage change in a matrix organization
• Strategic planning and organizational development skills
• Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills

Responsabilidades

• Serve as strategic liaison for health information and collaborate with clinical and technology teams
• Develop and maintain governance structures for ongoing EHR improvements
• Design and optimize clinical workflows to improve efficiency and care
• Build roadmaps aligned with Aspirus's goals, care models, and safety standards
• Lead enterprise-wide informatics initiatives and change management efforts
• Foster staff development, mentorship, and resource optimization within the informatics practice
