HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Director Clinical Education Programs to lead the development, management and delivery of clinical education across the Clinical Education Service Line.

This role oversees orientation, competency management, and inter-professional training, collaborating with Instructional Design to align with accreditation standards and drive patient safety and service excellence. The position requires advanced nursing education credentials and leadership experience in an acute

Qualifications

• Masters degree In Nursing or Education; if the graduate degree is not in nursing, the undergraduate degree must be in nursing – Required
• Doctorates degree in Nursing or Education – Highly Preferred
• 5+ years of experience in an acute care facility and 2+ years of experience in education, organizational development or human resources in a hospital setting – Required
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation. – Required
• Certified Nurse Educator certification required within one years of hire - Required

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver clinical education programs across the service line
• Ensure accreditation standards of Joint Commission, Medicare, Medicaid are met from an educational perspective
• Collaborate with Instructional Design team to align education with patient-centered care and data feedback
• Lead in budget management and leadership accountability for the department
• Travel up to 25% as needed
